    Updated my computer, now all my desktop icons are gone, as well as some taskbar icons!


    After I updated my laptop Realtek Audio Driver - 11 - 6.0.9683.1 comes up as the latest update, not sure if this is relevant all the icons on my desktop are gone as well as some of the icons on my taskbar, which have turned to weird green and white square thingies? It's pretty hard to navigate, and I can't figure out how to get them back. The text underneath the icons is still there. I also cannot see any icons in my file explorer as well. I've read about "tablet mode," but can't seem to find a way to see if my laptop is in that mode or not. I also made sure "show desktop icons" is chec

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

    Is there a way to remove the trash, computer, and home icons on the desktop in Fedora 13? I like a clean desktop and I don't use those icons.

    System Icons on taskbar

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

    Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

    If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:


    • Click on the search bar on the taskbar.

    • Type system icons.

    • Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
