Windows 10: updated my windows 11 last night and now when it turns on, nothing comes on the screen at...

I updated my windows 11 last night and now when it turns on, nothing comes on the screen at all. not even the bios. so i literally cant do anything except burning it and using it for heat. Please advise.

Night Light does not turn off for games on Windows 11

My issue is that Night Light does not turn off automatically when I launch full screen applications, specifically games. In the past, I was using the feature on a system with Windows 10, and it always turned off for games. But since I got a new system with Windows 11, Night Light always stays on, even when playing games, which ruins all the colours in games. I simply deactivated the feature entirely for that reason, hoping this would be fixed at some point. Unfortunately, the issue persists to this day, and I would really like to use the feature again as it was.

The only thing I found in an internet search is that the issue might be related to DirectX 11, but with no solution. Another suggested fix was to turn HDR on and off, which did not help.

I am currently on Windows 11 Ver. 10.0.22631, but like I said, I've had the issue for many versions now.

 

Screen color shifts to red after login, even with night shift off

Basically, problem is:

1. Screen display is neutral pre-login
2. Login and after 15-30 seconds, screen shifts to red, like night light is on
3. night light is off in the settings, turning it on can make it even more red
4. turning night light off again removes the extra color temp but not getting rid of it all the way

I've followed a number of posts on this issue, updating windows, turning off night shift, turning back on, checking that no monitor color profiles are turned on, etc. What I have found after experimentation though is that creating a new user on the computer
and loging in as that user does not show the red shift problem, which points to something in my profile.

What I can't figure out is what is that something?

Does anyone have suggestions on fixing a broken profile or resetting the setting that controls this?
