    windows 10 upgrade

    I just upgraded my windows from windows 8.1 to Windows 10 with my Asus flip book. and now my mousepad will not scroll down a web page or any page at that matter. I have to click the side of the page and scroll down with the mouse keys, is there any way
    to fix this, its very inconvenient to not have this feature.

    upgraded to Win 10 and cannot scroll using mousepad

    I found an answer online and I'm hoping it helps you as well. Instead of using ONE finger to scroll down, you are now required to use TWO fingers and scroll up the touchpad (right side) to scroll down a page. Scroll down the side to go back up. HELLO! Where

    First try Windows Update and let it install everything. Repeat the process since it may find some more updates. Then see if a new touchpad driver is automatically installed. If not, visit Asus website, download the touchpad driver and install it.

    Hi:

    First, I would follow @spapakons's excellent advice.

    Also, perhaps see this thread: elan touchpad driver update
    In particular, see this reply in that thread for a link to a 3rd-party site with a fix that worked for another ASUS user: elan touchpad driver update
    It seems to be a similar problem with a fix. (There are many, similar threads here about laptop touchpads.)

    ***CAVEAT:     I have not tried it and have no way to test it. So, this is offered "as is" and "at your own risk".*Smile
