    Updated to 9860 , now missing letters in text


    Just changed to 9860and noticed missing letters in plain text, the app names, settings i.e. Mouse button lef rather than left. shows on IE some missing letters while others quite readable. Previous build did not have this problem.

    How to: 10 Tips before installing the latest Windows 10

    Successfully updated from 9860 to 9879 on 12/01/14. Don't know why it worked this time, since Win10 has not been booted since the failure on 11/25/14.

    BTW, after the failure, it automatically reverted back to 9860.

    Good to see the Build Number on the download page. That, in itself, is an improvement.

    Now to see if 9879 will install over updated 9860. It failed on 11/25/14.

    There are already a dozen other posts about this here... This is fixed in a windows update, go to windows update and download the available updates.

    Sorry, my bad. I had tried to go to zPC settings and it was non responsive. Windows update thru IE solved the problem. Tx.

    There are already a dozen other posts about this here... This is fixed in a windows update, go to windows update and download the available updates.

    I also had that problem with missing text. I did the update and the problem is fixed.
