updated windows 11 and it deleted wifi and bluetooth drivers how do i reinstall it, i keep downloading it and it will not install. This has occurred previously and i was able to download and install the wifi driver but now i cannot even find the driver under device management. Has this happened to anyone and what was the fix?

HP Spectre Folio 13 lost Bluetooth after latest Windows 11 update

After the most recent Windows 11 update, Bluetooth on this HP Spectre Folio 13t-Ak000 CTO stopped working. The computer refuses to report that it has Bluetooth, so no controls are visible. Given the proximity to the Windows 11 update, I am assuming that it is a software conflict rather than a hardware failure. The latest manufacturer's updates are for Windows 10 only.

The following steps were taken, to no avail:

• Airplane mode was turned on and off.
  
• A corrupted device driver, suspected as being the misinterpreted Bluetooth driver, was removed and the computer was rebooted to force a reinstallation.
  
• All Windows and HP updates were installed, including a BIOS update.
  
• System File Checker repaired the OS.
  
• HP's network drivers were downloaded and reinstalled on the system.
  
• The Bluetooth troubleshooter was run but no Bluetooth hardware was detected.
  

I have also posted this report on the HP boards. I have considered looking for the component manufacturer's Bluetooth drivers, if any, but I can't figure out the manufacturer. Any suggestions would be welcome.

 

Wifi and Bluetooth Drivers

I just downloaded Windows 11 from Windows 10, im having three driver issues.

I already went through all the troubleshooting steps. Including going to the manufacturers website and downloading the drivers straight from their website on to my PC, upgrading from windows 10 to 11 did not fix the issue either

Synaptics UWP (Touch ID), Wifi 6 AX201 network adapter (The only reason I have wifi now is because im using an external wifi adapter) and a USB device driver issue. Bluetooth is also not showing up in my device manager, I have already tried troubleshooting that as well.

This afternoon, bluetooth and wifi were both working and then both suddenly stopped. I tried manually downloading and reinstalling drivers to no avail, as well as using the troubleshooter etc. Uninstalling them as well, I even downloaded Windows 11.

Im starting to think its a hardware problem.

Could you please help me with the below information:

1. Is WIFI working when Bluetooth is enabled?
2. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
3. Are you trying to send and receive files via Bluetooth?

I understand how difficult it can be, when the basic features doesn’t work the way they are intended to.
This issue is an indication of faulty drivers or incompatible driver.
This can be fixed by updating the drivers or uninstalling and reinstalling it. I suggest you to follow the steps given below and let us know the results.

Method 1: Run the inbuilt troubleshooter.

1. Go to Settings > Click on Update & Security.
2. Click on Troubleshoot > Click on ‘Internet Connections’.
3. Now click on Run the troubleshooter. After the network troubleshooter completes click on ‘Bluetooth’.
4. Run the troubleshooter and this will try to fix the connectivity issues with the internet and Bluetooth.

Method 2: Update drivers.

Step 1: Update wifi drivers.

1. Press Windows and R key together on your Keyboard.
   
2. Type Devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
3. Go to ‘Network Adapters’ and expand them.
   
4. Right click on the ‘WIFI’ network adapter, and select
   Roll back (If it is enabled) or click on Update Drivers.
   
5. Click on ‘Search automatically for updated driver software’.
   

Step 2: Update Bluetooth drivers.

In the same way you can update or Roll back the ‘Bluetooth’ drivers.

1. Go to ‘Bluetooth’ and expand it.
2. Right click on the ‘Bluetooth’ drivers, and select
   Roll back (If it is enabled) or click on Update Drivers.
3. Click on ‘Search automatically for updated driver software’.
4. Restart the PC after the updating of the drivers completes.

This will update the drivers of WIFI and
Bluetooth. Once the drivers are updated check, if you can use both WIFI
and Bluetooth together. For more information check the
update drivers in windows 10.
