Windows 10: Updated Windows and now can't hear Multiple things.

I updated windows 10 on my laptop and before I used to be able to listen to friends on discord while watching netflix, or youtube, etc. But then I updated it and whenever I talked or I heard noise from discord, it would stop the audio from youtube or netflix, so I searched for hours, updating drivers, installing new chipset and audio drivers, but nothing worked. Now I can't even hear youtube or netflix and I don't think I have another software open that is giving audio.

I suggest you enable settings in the Playback Devices and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices.
• Click on the Playback Devices and right click on the
  Speakers/Headphones.
• Check mark on the Show Disabled Devices and
  Show Disconnected Devices.

If the issue persists the follow the below step.

Step 2:

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
