Windows 10: UPDATES - COMPLETE AND UTTER FRUSTRATIONS FROM

I do not know if problems associated with updates to my PC are actually due to the update, or unrelated problems however, this latest update has results in complete and utter frustration. Since allowing the update, now about every 15 minutes +/- my machine, without any warning at all, will suddenly shutdown completely.It is usual with Microsoft, at least as related to my personal experiences since 1980 and moving forward, that updates to my PC systems from Microsoft have related to big, non-ignorable is that a word? problems that take considerable time to resolve. Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I believe you, it is ideed frustrating. Then again everything that involves calling support is frustrating. Is your problem solved by now or what will be the next steps?

 

Windows 10 "Couldn't complete updates"

Thanks for the update and response.

I suggest you to go to Windows services and restart the Windows Update service and check if it helps. Follow the below steps to do so.

Steps:-

• Press Windows Key + R and type “services.msc” (without quotes)
• Hit Enter.
• Search for Windows Update service in the list.
• Right Click on it and stop it.
• Again right click on it and start it.
