Windows 10: updates fail

after 3 weeks of successful Win 10, now when I start up, i get the message that Update installations have failed. The program continues, but also now my computer is moving at snail's pace.
With Win 7, I could find Windows Update easily and manually install updates. With Win 10, I can't seem to find the source of Updates.
Help, please.

Did that. Windows still saves old folders (yes, even when selecting clean, remove all data install) and eventually, it'll reattach them automatically on a network and the issues start all over. Reloading files from cloud drives does the same. Microsoft
Windows machine keys are stored in too many places with security that doesn't even let the owner delete them.

Let me start with a disclaimer. Granted I'm no IT tech, but after reading all the support sites I have, I'm confident I know more than the Microsoft customer service reps I've spoken to.

I've tried every which way to erase COMPLETELY and reinstall. Repair doesn't work, recovery only brings you back so far, the Windows setup, start clean (erase all data) and reinstall as if you're donating your computer leaves "Windows.old" files that are
a nuisance and revert your computer to a compromised state when you trying to reinstall anything from them, formatting the drive erases all your drivers which is pain & again, usually winds up going wrong and altering the perfect configuration your after...so,
as of this moment, the Best option I've come up with and have gotten from Microsoft, is to purchase a new copy of windows 10 for a clean install without upgrading, or to go along with the upgrade method. Just make sure to save a backup disk, repair disk and
restore point the moment you reinstall and have all your drivers perfect - before you do anything else - including installing any programs, inserting external drives or thumb drives, or downloading cloud drives. And definitely do not install any insider builds
or anything that hasn't been released by Microsoft yet to the public.
