Hello feature in Windows is not working

Your Surface Pro 4 is affected by the TPM Vulnerability. If you look at the
ADV170012 Advisory in the heading “Recommended Actions” you will see a reference to your Surface Pro in section #4, it is quoted below.

“4. Apply applicable firmware updates

If your hardware is a Surface device, firmware updates are yet not available as of October 10, 2017. Microsoft is working to make firmware updates available for following affected devices and will provide links to the updates when they become available.

Surface Pro 3

Surface Pro 4

Surface Studio

Surface Hub”

Is your camera completely not working or just not working with Windows Hello?
If it is not functional with Windows Hello only I suspect that the problem is with the TPM.

Try using the tpm.msc command in search window.

 

Unable to connect HDTV over Miracast - Windows 10

I am seeing the same issue with surface pro 4, surface book, and surface pro 3. All with aquos. 4 different tvs. Same model. All running latest updates and drivers. Something is wrong with the aquos miracast imo.

 

If they are improving the NVMe driver for the Surface, I wonder if we can expect an update for the Standard NVMe driver in Win 10. The current one seems to have some problems.

 

When I first saw this post I was thinking Microsoft was releasing the new models.

I was all set to get a Surface Book Pro Performance edition with the 1TB SSD drive but have decided to hold off as rumors of a Surface Book Pro 2 loom. Don't want to spend the type of money on the Performance edition only to see a new model released months later. The supposed update includes the 7th gen Intel chip, an upgraded NVidia GPU, and perhaps more ports.

Anyway I was thinking this post was giving some insight into that, but apparently not.
