Windows 10: Updates for Windows 10

For the past 6 months or so every time windows runs updates it messes up many of my settings. Wallpaper - gone; IMAP settings for 3 email accounts - gone; web browser favorites - gone; signatures in Outlook - gone; Zoom - gone; Spotify - gone; Bible study software - gone. I thought the first few times it might be a bug that would be fixed soon. Now I am beyond frustrated. I just ran updates last week and ran through the whole gauntlet and now, only a week later, it wants to run updates AGAIN. I can not keep doing this. PLEASE help!!

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
