Windows 10: UPDATES: HOW CAN I DESELECT 98% OF THEM

I have windows on my macbook for one app.... I don't have the data plan for these and I dont care for all the sanctioned spyware MS insists on clogging up my already small partition with.


How can I chose to omit updates?



See I installed a bittorrent app, Windows Bluescreened (Good to see things haven't changed) I couldn't even boot to safe mode so I had to re install..


BUT GUESS WHAT MS??? YOU MORONS DELETE THE BOOTCAMP APPLE SOFTWARE UPDATE APP ALONG WITH ANY NON WINDOWS APP.


But you keep Cortana, I totally need Cortana more than Macbook touchpad drivers.


NO ONE USES IT FFS.



I'M NOT GOING TO FALL FOR A CALL CENTRE SCAMMER SO STOP TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE MORONS AND DO A BETTER JOB AT IMPLEMENTING SYSTEMS THAT YOUR END, NOT MINE.

Windows 98 and ME no longer updatable...

Quite right, XP is still listed in technet. Win 98 unfortunately isn't. Windows 3.1 and 3.2 are listed though.

And @ Service Packs: They are updates to the OS, so support on them is not really applicable. Support for Starter, Home Premium and Ultimate ends in 2012-04-10. Quite soon actually.

Hi, suggest you try Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - gives a great quick analysis (SSDs too).

Please post the results.
