    Updates won't download.


    I've been having problems accessing work emails so it was suggested to begin with I checked all updates were in place. When I tried to download Windows updates on my laptop, I got error code 0x800700005. Have no idea how to proceed! Am completely out of my depth and need tech-free language as any support articles I've looked at make no sense at all!

    Vista x64 won't download updates?

    The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
    I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

    I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

    I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused Updates won't download. :confused:

    What gives?

    Applications won`t maximize

    Following a W10 update, applications only open as minimised on the taskbar and won`t maximize. I have tried closing them minimised but no good. Can anyone help ? thanks
