Windows 10: Updating Problem

I just started to use a tablet. Windows 10 claims it updates automatically, which I see it does, upon searching the past update files. But for some reason there still is an update that it fails to install. It's an upgrade to the next level of windows 10 home edition.It upgrades everything else but that one. Does anyone haw any knowledge that they can shed as to why it fails to install this one. Kindly help if you can. Many Thanks.

Cant update using nokia software updater for Nokia 5800

hi there I would just like to find out how can I go about updating my phone with the new software that is available for the Nokia 5800? I've tried many times on downloading it but it's not working on my PC. It tells me the whole time that I need to check
for configuration settings!!! I'm fed up and I would like to upgrade to the new software. I have widows vista installed on my PC and I have enough memeory to download the nokia software for the PC option.

Could someone be so kind in helping me. I can't even download the new maps to my phone. I live in South Africa and the street that I live in doesn't even appear on the maps that's on my phone.

Problem in updating OVI Maps After updating E72 Device Software to 051.018

Although it would erase all data on device (need to backup) I would suggest that you reset E72 by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lockcode unless altered by yourself) and download OVI Maps from here:

http://maps.nokia.com/services-and-apps/ovi-maps/downloads#/nokia-e72/ which you can always transfer to memory card and install it from there by finding it with file manager.

Welcome to the forums, which version are you running? Find out by clicking windows start and type winver then enter.

 

Tablets can be a nuisance to update. Firstly, lets find out your version.

Open a command prompt and top line will say 10240 or 10586.

If it says 10240, how much spare space do you have on the tablet?

Ok - you need to download new iso from here to your sd card.

Double click on it and run setup.exe and it should upgrade.

Wow. This looks like it's above my non-technical brain. It shows 4 iso versions for windows 10. Which one should I use...Windows 10?

Yes. You are right. Take Windows 10

 

I guess I'll have to try this operation. By the way what is the dif between Tech Benchs' solution compared to Microsoft's. It appears to be the same.

The iso is the same. For an upgrade, it is just a little easier to download directly instead of going via the media creation tool.

The tool is better when creating a bootable usb drive, as it does it without tools like rufus.
