Windows 10: Updating Windows 10, Version 20H2 - keeps looping

ISSUE 1 - I got a message on my new laptop "Your version of Windows 10 will stop receiving important quality updates soon....." Then I have the option to click on Download and Install.

1. I have clicked on the "Download and Install" link and restarted my laptop about 5 times and the message is still there.
2. While installing it takes a bit of time. It starts from 0% all the way to 99%, then 100% and starts over again.
3. I do not get any error messages
4. When I check the version, it indicated that it was not updated to version 20H2 but the status show I'm up to date.

ISSUE 2 - The BLUE screen asking for Bit locker code


This is the most annoying issue. Only less than 1 month of purchasing my laptop, I have been seeing the blue screen. I got someone to help me with finding the code to enter when asked. BUT the issue isn't resolved.


Almost one year later, and only last month, I notice the Blue screen appear again and again! usually when I put the laptop in sleep mode


My laptop is an HP Envy and I have had it for less than 1 year. Its very frustrating to see these issues after spending a lot of money on the laptop and MS office software. Very disappointing.


Please provide a solution that will fix both issues.

Windows 10 version 20H2

The computer in question had Windows 7 on it and there was not an option to uninstall the 20H2 update. So I have reverted back to Windows 7. Is there a way to download and install Windows 10 version 2004? The games will work on that version but not the
20H2 version.

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

Windows 10 version 20H2

I down loaded windows 10 version 20H2 and now many games I play on FB are VERY slow. The games worked ok on version 2004. Question if I down load version 2004 will it override version 20H2, or do I need to remove version 20H2 prior to downloading version
2004?
