Windows 10: updating windows both on SSD and HDD.

i recently transfered my windows form HDD to SSD and using the HDD as a storage device without formatting so i have the windows installed on my HDD. In any case my SSD get crashed, i can restore it from my HDD. Now how do i keep my HDD updated along with my SSD so i can restore the recent version i am using in case of any accident.

Upgraded Windows Transfer from HDD to SSD

Hi

My windows was upgraded from 8 to 10 on my laptop few years back. I was trying to get the HDD replaced with SSD. During the copy process, the technician said windows cannot be moved to SSD as it is an upgraded version from 8 to 10.

Kindly guide if there is a possibility to copy the windows to SSD ? If so, please suggest the steps.

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

List is now in order of fastest to slowest, as it was, but is now split into 4 different sections! SSD's, SSD's in RAID, HDD's, HDD's in RAID! *Smile
