Discus and support upgrad CPU Athlon x2 from 5200+ to 6000, CPUID show change, system no in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Cpuid shows as 6000+ Why does win10 not show the new cpu ?     Cpuid shows as 6000+
    Why does win10 not show the new cpu ? Just shows the old cpu.

    I can tell the PC is faster now with the new cpu.

    3,25 GB usable out of 4GB on Windows 10 x32, after adding a new RAM stick.

    My processor is AMD Athlon X2 6000+ 3,1Ghz.

    Processor support for Windows 10

    Hi,

    I have the same problem upgrade to windows 10 for AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ processor 2.8 GHz fails since cpu isn't supported.

    Running SiSoftware shows that the processor supports PAE, NX, and SSE2.

    So big question is that even though the cpu supports all these features, the upgrade process still fails

    Solved by in device manager, uninstall both cpu cores.
    then restart PC, and it will redetect cpu.
    Now shows as 6000+ 3.0ghz
