    Hi,I have a HP OMEN 16-B1371TX LAPTOP.It comes with 2x8 16gb memory stick.I want to upgrade RAM to 2x16gb.My question is, do I have to buy a 16gbx2 kit or I can install two 16gb stick separately.I see in Amazon that 16gb Crucial stick has ₹4,087.26Also, for Crucial 32GB Kit 2x16gb has ₹12,850Can I buy 2 x 16gb single stick?Thanks

    I have 8gb and will be upgrading to 16gb ram. But then i saw how there is 32gb ram ... price is double that of 16gb ram.


    Now is there any point of upgrading a laptop to 32gb ram? Or its a complete waste? I mean i know i could always upgrade to 32gb ram in the future but if i do that, i could always get something for my 16gb ram selling it on ebay right?


    Someone mentioned since i have an old machine dell xps 15 9550 and 8gb ram... 16gb should be fine.

    8 GB's is what I would tell everybody to have as a minimum. For gamer or power user, I suggest going to 16GB of RAM. 32GB or more RAM I usually only see for people who are running lots of VM's, databases, or high end rendering type applications.

    The 16GB of RAM in my build was $134. If you can find 32Gb of decent RAM for less than that... grab it, fast.
