Upgrade 1709 to 1803: my computer "gradually" freezes randomly.

    Hello,

After upgrading to 1803, my system freezes randomly while using it.
The freezing starts with a piece of a screen that stays on foreground (cannot get rid of it).
Then programs are stopping one-by-one (when trying to use them). Some will work, but eventually no programs
    are reacting anymore.
Then the keyboard isn't responding anymore, but the mouse still is.
I can use the startmenu once, then it stalls too.
Everytime I start a program with the mouse (the only way then) "something seems to start, a blue circle is seen and nothing happens anymore.

And as I said : it is quite random. But most within an hour or two max.

When I restart, a usb ports are hanging. But when I shut down and restart, that's ok.

    Tried already:
    + latest display driver Nvidia
    + all updates are installed
+ no real worriyng events in eventslog

For the time now I am back to 1709, but at a time I must go further.

Can anyone point me in a good direction of solving this ?

    Cheers!

    Kees

    :)

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
I had tried that as well... no result.
