Windows 10: upgrade from 10 to 11: regards Office 2010 and Legacy Boot BIOS

I have two related questions. Both involve a PC currently running Windows 10.If Office 2010 is installed, what does the update to Windows 11 do? Does it disable Office 2010, warn that Office 2010 is not suported and pause, or something else?If Windows 10 was installed on Legacy Boot BIOS without Secure Boot, will the Windows 11 upgrade even start?

Upgrade Office 2010 to Office 2019

I have a computer running Windows 10 and I want to upgrade my current Office 2010 to Office 2019. I believe you cannot just simply upgrade over the existing Office program and so I need to know the comprehensive detailed steps of getting Office 2019 installed, settings, data transferred and then finally the best method to remove the old Office 2010 completely.

Any other additional information that I need to know and do would also be helpful.

UEFI BIOS supports two boot modes: Legacy BIOS boot mode and UEFI boot mode. Some devices and operating systems do not yet support UEFI-based BIOS and can boot only from Legacy BIOS boot mode. Choose Legacy BIOS boot mode to allow HBAs and Express
Module devices to use option ROMs. Choose UEFI boot mode to use UEFI drivers.



Only devices that support the selected boot mode are listed on the BIOS Boot screen. If you select UEFI Boot Mode, only boot candidates that support UEFI BIOS boot mode are listed on the BIOS Setup Utility screens in the Boot Options Priority list.
If you select Legacy BIOS boot mode, only boot candidates that support Legacy BIOS boot mode are listed in the Boot Options Priority list.

If your Office 2010 worked with Windows 10, it should work with Windows 11. Office 2010 and later versions work on Windows 11.

If you don't plan to upgrade to Windows 11 yet, On your Windows update settings page, please see if there's an option to "Stay with Windows 10 for now." Please click it.
