Windows 10: Upgrade from 1909 to 20H2 on 32GB Notebook doesn't allow use of two external USB drives anymore

Hi previously I could use two USB sticks to upgrade my Lenovo Notebook to the latest Windows 10 version.
My Notebook only has a 32GB HDD which is very full. It has less than 3GB of space but I can't afford to buy a new one.
Now I can only use one drive to update it which must have at least 10GB available on it.
After plugging in the drive I am told that I still need to create 1.49GB of space on the C: drive
After uninstalling some apps and moving files to another USB drive temporarily I have enough space on the C: drive to do the update.
I don't know why MS has changed things as it worked so well before when I could use two USB drives.
I was able to get my Notebook up to 1909 from 1803 using this method.
The MS help page is incomplete as it doesn't tell you that you also need about 5GB on the C: drive on top of the space on the external USB stick.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

help. USB drive isn't assigned a drive letter.

Any usb flash drive I plug into my computer isn't assigned a drive letter. The physical drive shows in the "safely remove hardware" but it doesnt show up in disk management. I have tried to populate the volume thru the safely remove hardware properties window and it does pop up in the list but it doesn't stay there. This isn't a format or assign a letter problem. It's more complicated then that. Maybe one of the services needed for usb drive management was disabled? Suggestions needed. btw external usb harddrives work fine.

 

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?
