Windows 10: Upgrade from 32 bit win 7 to 64 bit win10

    When I upgrade my 32 bit win 7 computer to win 10 can I choose to upgrade to 64 bit win 10?

    Windows 10 64 bit

    I had win 7 32 bit and have been upgraded to win 10 32 bit, to get win 10 64 bit do I need to downgrade to my original win 7 32 bit and then use the win10 64 bit tool to create an install disk or is there an easier way? Is it best to reformat and clean
    install seven?

    I would un-install win 10 and try again from win 7 .. was there any errors when upgrading .. I would make sure win 7 did not have any problems before upgrading , is win7 32 or 64 bit , then make sure win10 is the right bit 32 or 64 bit .. before any upgrade
    should do a full back-up

    You cannot do an in place upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit. Going from 32-bit to 64-bit requires a clean install.
