Upgrade from MSOffice 2019 to MSOffice 365

I am currently using MSOffice 2019 on the latest version of Windows 10 without issue. I have an option via work to upgrade(?) to Office 365.

Is this straightforward? Will Office 2019 be removed? Is there anything I need to do in advance to ensure a smooth upgrade?

Also, I don't use Outlook and don't want to in future.

    Many thanks,
    John.

    :)

regarding retriving my msoffice with product key

Download the free LibreOffice. It does every thing MSOffice does and will read and write many versions of MSOffice software.

Win10 File Explorer hangs on MSOffice docs

As I said in the original trouble report, I don't have MSOffice.

I don't need or want it either. I am just trying to move and copy files. Copy from cmd shell does work.

I do think it likely the problem has something to do with MSOffice being attached to explorer, so you are probably on to something.

I am just trying to copy a file.

Win10 File Explorer hangs on MSOffice docs

I installed MSOffice and the problem resolved.

I think this proves there's undesirable dependent coupling between file explorer and office installations.

    Nice extortion, Microsoft.
