Windows 10: Upgrade from Win 10 1809 to Win 10 2004, I think this upgrade deleted my Realtek Audio HD...

I need to Re-install the Realtek HD Audio Manager and Drivers but How do I do that? I have the Driver #'s and Codec #'s but are they Compatible with the 2004 Version of Windows 10?

Some how, in a Update my Realtek HD Codecs and Drivers that were originally installed on this computer went missing, along with the Realtek HD Audio Manager.

Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.

I think Windows 10 it is worth the upgrade.

The first Win 10 drivers for both my onboard Realtek Lan and Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty pci sound card released today, 8-18-15. So yes, it is NOW worth the upgrade. *Clap :clap:

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
