Windows 10: Upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 error 0xc1900101-40017

I have had problems with upgrading to windows 11 for some time. I get error 0xc1900101-40017 and cant figure out how to solve it.

Hi all,

My laptop which is currently running Windows 10 completely fine. Then mostly every time I put the laptop on the windows update proceeds to download windows 11 and then attempts to install it , failing every time.

Until the next time on a bootup the process starts again to download, then install but then fails. I have no issue at all to upgrade to Windows 11, my laptop is compatible to do so , but fails with this error message "Windows 11, version 22H2 -Error 0xc1900101-40017", with a prompt to try again.

I have tried this numerous times, each time ending in this error code.

Is there anyone that could help work around what this error code is and how to fix it/overcome it so that I can install Windows 11 via the integral windows update option?

Windows 10 upgrading problem---Error C1900101-40017

While upgrading windows 10 from windows 7 as free upgrade, after about 75% is completed, there was installation failure showing error C1900101-40017.

pl suggest how to resolve the problem

 

ERROR CODE 0xC1900101-40017 Windows10 upgrade

So my acer laptop running Win8.1 will not upgrade. I have tried 6 time and get the same error message 0xC1900101-40017. I have 2 other pcs here and they took 2 to 3 tries before the upgrade worked. So far am not empressed with win10 my other pcs take forever
to boot up. any way can some one help me out with this proplem? Spent 3 hr on the phone with Microsoft, and the don't seem to have any answers.
