  1. Upgrade Lenovo with CODRAM 8GB and KINGSTON SSD 500GB - STILL SLOW TO START UP

Recently, I bought CODRAM 8GB and KINGSTON SSD 500GB to upgrade and make my LENOVO 82DQ AMD RYZEN 5 4500U WITH RADEON GRAPHICS to run faster. It runs perfectly fine with many tabs open but when I want to start my laptop or even restart, it takes longer to open. I tried to clear the temp files, disabled some startups but still it did not work properly. Any ways you can help me with?

    :)

Windows 10 - Very Slow Install - Kingston HyperX Predator SSD

So after having a chat with Kingston it appears as though they are still trying to work out if it is a problem with the Marvell Controller or whether it is the Windows 10 Installer.

I say Installer, because by all accounts the SSD in question does appear to work ok with Windows 10. There are also instances of a clean install of Windows 10 working without being slow, but sadly not in my case. With the install being stupidly slow whether
    through upgrade or clean install.

So Kingston are working it from their end: Microsoft, how about you?

Any clues? Given it works fine with Windows 10, it sounds to me more an issue with your Installer not working correctly with the driver/controller. Opinions? Acknowledgements? Comments of any kind? Microsoft?

Or is it more a case of Microsoft blaming Kingston, Kingston blaming Marvell, and Marvell blaming Microsoft?

Upgrade Lenovo with CODRAM 8GB and KINGSTON SSD 500GB - STILL SLOW TO START UP

Upgraded from 500GB SSD to 1TB SSD

Just finished swapping out my Samsung EVO 860 500GB SSD for a new Samsung QVO 860 1TB SSD on my Lenovo Ideacenter K450. Took about 1.5 hours start to finish.

    1. Macrium incremental backup of existing 500GB SSD.
    2. Swapped drives.
    3. Clean install to 1TB SSD (to get new partition layout with 1909).
    4. Booted Kyhi Rescue flash drive and ran Macrium to restore only the C: partition of the 500GB backup to the C: partition of the 1TB C: partition.
    5. Ran Macrium's Fix Windows Boot Problems tool.
    6. Shutdown, removed flash drive, powered up and system booted with no problems.
    7. Ran Minitool Partition Wizard to expand C: to use the rest of the now unused 1TB drive.
Done. Rebooted and all is well except I now have an additional 500B of free space on my C: partition.

My drive 1 now looks like this:
