Windows 10: Upgrade RDS server 2012 R2 to 2019

I Have a question...We have a 2012 r2 server with RDS licenses installed for 2012 servers.We have bought a pack with RDS Licenses for 2019 servers.Could I Upgrade my 2012 r2 server to 2019 for install these new licenses?Or RDS 2012 licenses will not work after the upgrade?I would like to have both of licenses.Could you help me?Thanks in advance.

Problem with data replication from win server 2019 to server 2012 R2

Can I do data replication from win server 2019 with Active Directory to server 2012 R2 without Active Directoriy?

Or I must install Active Directory on device with win server 2012 R2 first

Convert Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation to Windows Server 2012 R2

I have purchased the product key of Windows Server 2012 R2. Now the server is on Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation. I found a few links there they explained on how to convert from Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation to Windows Server 2012 R2 with valid product

Is this a correct way to do? If I follow this step, will my data be erased?

I want to avoid formatting/fresh Windows install because there are some software in the server that we do not know how to backup. We just want to get it activated now, backup will be sorted out later.

 

Upgrade Step for Windows AD Server to Windows Server 2019

Hi all,

I need your help as my situation below,

Primary server:

Windows 2008 R2 Standard (Master)

AD CS

AD DS

DNS

Secondary Server:

Windows 2012 R2 Standard

AD CS

AD DS

DNS

Replication AD only from Primary to Secondary server.

We have bought Windows Server 2019 Standard for two and we plan to upgrade both server,

I have found lots of step to upgrade AD server for easy ways by adding the bootable Windows iso media and run adprep /forestprep.

But I am worry If some thing else messup the configuration and AD itself.

My Plan,

1: Upgrade windows 2012 to Windows 2019

2: After all done, I will start upgrade Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2012 R2

3. An then start to Upgrade to Windows 2019

Question : Any step or prerequisite before i start upgrading ? (for example, AD might not working during installation or etc)
