Windows 10: Upgrade to 10 from 7 on dual boot drive containing 7 and XP

I have Win7 and XP on a single SSD nicely set up for dual booting. Works perfectly. Can anyone say what will happen if I upgrade 7 to 10 using the Windows upgrade site method, downloading the update .exe file and firing away? Can anyone predict what will happen? Thanks, Jack

Upgrade to Windows 10 with a Dual boot Windows 7/Windows XP

My current set-up is a dual boot with Windows 7 and Windows XP. This is because I use Windows XP to run some specific programs.

When I boot up the computer, it gets to the point where it asks which operating system to use:

• Windows 7
• Windows XP

If I upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10, will I still be able to start Windows 10 by clicking in the old Windows 7 link?

Upgrade to Win 10 from dual boot win 7 / win xp

I upgraded from win xp to a dual boot win xp / win 7 by using a win 7 upgrade disk. win 7 is now stable so I don't need win xp any longer and don't need a dual boot system.

win 7 is on sata drive c with data also on that sata drive as drive d. win xp is on an old ide drive e. There is also a separate ide data disk f.

Will I be able to upgrade the upgraded win 7 to win 10 using a win 10 upgrade - and should I disconnect the win xp ide drive e while I am doing it?

XP and 7 to XP and 10 upgrade?

I have a PC that currently is set to dual boot XP and Windows 7.

Drive 1 has XP pro-32 bit

Drive 2 has Win 7 Ultimate-64 bit

Can I upgrade the WIn 7 to Windows 10? Or will it break the dual boot?

I need XP for some legacy hardware and a few software pieces.
