Windows 10: Upgrade to SSD

Hi All.

I'm new on here so hello first of all, and I'm hoping you can give me some advice and tips.

I have successfully upgraded a few desktop pc's to SSD at work, using Acronis cloning software and haven't come across any issues with them. it is a simple process of connecting the SSD in its cradle to a USB port, run the software, then swap out (or keep the old hard drive as a second drive) and hey presto a faster PC. However they are all desktop's running Win 7, and the latest project is my laptop running Win 10.

Can you foresee Windows 10 throwing up any issues with this?

HP Pavilion 15 laptop running Windows 10 Home, Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.746)

Upgraded Windows Transfer from HDD to SSD

Hi

My windows was upgraded from 8 to 10 on my laptop few years back. I was trying to get the HDD replaced with SSD. During the copy process, the technician said windows cannot be moved to SSD as it is an upgraded version from 8 to 10.

Kindly guide if there is a possibility to copy the windows to SSD ? If so, please suggest the steps.
