    Upgrade to Windows 10 from 7 failed twice. Error Code 0xC1900101 - 0x20017


    I disconnected everything but monitor, keyboard and mouse on the second attempt. I am a novas and would appreciate a simple solution. Very frustrated at this point.

    Did you try the list of quick fixes which include removal of third party AV.

    Hi Antony,

    As i am getting error code 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 but you suggested to refer 0xc1900101-0x40017. Just asking which one is right solution for my
    issue ?

    I have already tried the steps mentioned for error code 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 but No luck.

    I also tried to upgrade through Windows Update but same error.
