Windows 10: upgrade to Windows 11 Pro on parallels VM

I have Windows 11 running on a VM Parallels. Therefore only Windows 11 pro is accepted.I already bought a Windows 11 Key and want to upgrade it to Windows 11 pro in order to activate it on my VM.How do I get the pro Version with the Product Key of the Windows 11 Home?The Home Key is not accepted by the VM Mac Book Pro therefore I cannot activate it first and upgrade thereafter.

Windows 10 Upgrade within Parallels 11

i am currently running Parallels 11 with Windows 7 Pro on my Apple Mac 2010 27inch. when trying to upgrade the Windows Virtual Window to Windows 10 I get the error message that I do not have enough Ram. The Apple Mac has 8gb of Memory whereas the upgrade
requires only 2gb.

I have no problems with running Parallels 11 with Windows 7 Pro but would like to complete the step and upgrade the Virtual window to Windows 10.

Any ideas please

It will work, which will however deactivate other VM though. So you upgraded using the generic key I gave, correct?

Thank you for your reply. I've deactivated the license key in my old Windows 11 Pro VM but I'm still unable to add my license key to the version of Home that's installed in the new Parallels VM.

When I add my license key it's not accepted.

When I go to the Activation screen in the new VM housing Windows Home that I want to upgrade to Windows Pro it shows as Active, but the menu option of Troubleshoot isn't available.

Before deactivating the license key in the old Windows 11 Pro VM I've tried to make a clean install to the this VM, but this failed too.
