Windows 10: Upgrade to Windows deletes all scheduled tasks.

I'm testing the upgrade process from Windows 10 to Windows 11, before I roll it out to our organization, and I've discovered that the upgrade process appears to delete existing scheduled tasks. I have several scheduled tasks created in the Windows 10 Task Scheduler, some in the root of the Task Scheduler Library and some in subfolders of the library. After the upgrade completes all the tasks and subfolders are deleted. How do I prevent this happening.?

Tasks still show in Task Scheduler despite being deleted

The OP has not mentioned deleting any program files.
The folder identified by the OP contains Task scheduler task definitions and nothing else.

I am not trying to suggest that the method the OP used is a good one.

Task scheduler user account list includes user accounts that have already been deleted from the computer.

Thanks for providing the results of the troubleshooting steps we provided. Since the credentials are still showing up in task scheduler, we suggest that you follow the steps below to check the entries in the credential manager and delete the entries manually:

• Type the words Credential Manager in Cortana or the search box.
• From the list of results select Credential Manager
• From this screen, you can manage Web Credentials and
  Windows Credentials.

Once you have the screen open verify if any of the credentials you saw in task scheduler is present and manually delete them.
