Windows 10: upgrade windows 10 to 11, where are my pin to start icons???

Discus and support upgrade windows 10 to 11, where are my pin to start icons??? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Seriously....I upgraded windows 10 to 11 and my incons that were "pin to start" are gone....................Someone could warm about deleting shortcuts...     upgrade windows 10 to 11, where are my pin to start icons???


    Seriously....I upgraded windows 10 to 11 and my incons that were "pin to start" are gone....................Someone could warm about deleting shortcuts to "pin to start" icons. if i knew they would be deleted i would make screen shot...so now since i am in windows 11 how do i restore my windows 10 "pin to start" short cuts ?????????

    'Pin to Start' and 'Unpin from Start" items in Windows 10


    Thanks Cliff. The first suggestion didn't work because the shortcut icon is not listed. The second easier suggestion didn't work because right-clicking does not include "Open File Location" as an option, only "Unpin from Start" and "Resize". Screenshots are included. "xmltobgl" is the culprit icon.

    Did u try right clicking and select add to start menu?

    When did AMD release DX12 drivers?

    Hmm, it does the same for me. *Confused

    As a workaround, you could add the shortcut to the All Apps list in the Start menu using an option in the tutorial below. It's not the same as Pin to Start, but it's in the Start menu and uses the custom icon.

USB drive onto an internal drive for now. i only have one app pinned to start thats on the ext USB drive. so i can test any Windows updates to see if MS fix the problem.
