Windows 10: Upgraded From WIN 11 home to PRO. Then returned laptop. Need to Activate PRO but dont have...

I bought a new laptop and upgraded from windows 11 home to a windows 11 pro but then five days later I decided to return the laptop I formatted it back to factory defaults so at that point it should not have been tied to any type of outlook e-mail or account. I have now purchased a new laptop and it is active with Windows 11 home but I want to get my version of 11 pro on this brand new laptop. I have the receipt when I purchased it just a month ago in my email And I and I even have the serial number of my old laptop but there's no way to upgrade to Windows Pro. I am logged in on my new laptop

Upgraded Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro through Store - Activation failed

Hi,

We bought a new laptop with Windows 11 Home installed. We needed Win 11 Pro for domain services. So, we went to the Store and upgraded to Win 11 Pro for 130$. After following the steps for upgrading, it changed to Windows 11 Enterprise and says cant activate windows on this device because you dont have a digital license or product key. I clicked on Troubleshoot and still got cant Activate and said to ask for Help. Error code was : 0xC004C003. Need help asap since it is for business. Tried windows updates, didnt work.

I can provide the order details if needed.

 

Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro doesn't Activate

I found a solution to upgrade my Sony laptop from Win 7 pro to Win 10 Pro.
As I described on the first post a upgrade from running Win 7 didn't work.
So I followed Brink tutorial Clean Install Windows 10 without having to Upgrade First
SIW2 suggested gatherosstate dance on post #8 but I didn't understand what he meant.
From running Win 7 Pro I generated a GenuineTicket.xml using gatherosstate.exe tool.
Then I did a Win 10 Pro Clean install on a blank SSD drive and used the GenuineTicket.xml generated under Win 7 Pro and it Activated Win 10 Pro just installed.
Now I have a Win 10 Pro license on the M$ servers to the Sony laptop and I can do a upgrade from Win 7 Pro that it will activate.

 

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.
