    Can't open Word or PP documents after Windows 10 upgrade

    I needed to add my c drive (and subfolders) as a Trusted location in both Excel and Word.

    from within excel or Word, file, options, trust center, trust center settings, trusted locations

    This is a joke that Windows 10 upgrade caused this problem. Excel told me the file was corrupt and word gave me an entirely different error message. I hope folks don't waste too much time trying to solve this it's not a particularly obvious fix.

    Hi Annie,

    Accessing your new machine from another network location might have triggered your inability to sign in to live.com if you are using your Microsoft account.

    If you think you will be frequently using that device to access your live.com account, you can add it to one of your
    Trusted Devices List to avoid sign in issues.
