I recently upgraded my Asus G10DK to a Ryzen 9 5900X. When I did that, the system would no longer POST and I couldn't get any video from the GPU. When I switched back to the old APU, my UEFI "Cannot Start" according to msinfo32 and Device Manager detects an issue with the firmware. I attempted to reinstall the BIOS for my motherboard to no avail. I can no longer get to the BIOS with my GPU's Display connection, its as if POST happens in the background. I can only see the splash screen and windows loading logo when I'm using my APU's onboard graphics. I can only access the BIOS when I'm using t

The UEFI still "Cannot start" with the old APU either. I'm at a loss on what to do, I already tried to reset the CMOS and that didn't help either.

 

PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

Steps that i have tried:
"No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist

Made sure all connections are properly connected.

Flashing the CMOS

Tested the PSU

Followed all steps in the user manual

Stuck in Windows 10 Upgrade

My computer seems to be stuck in a Windows 10 failed upgrade loop. I was running fine on a beta version of Windows 10, and then I came downstairs one morning to see it repeatedly booting, attempting to repair, then rebooting. The steps I've taken to diagnose are:

• Attempting to boot off a USB drive (with all drives disabled in BIOS) - this fails at the point of the blue windows screen
  
• Attempting to boot the machine itself and getting into "repair/safe mode" using F7
  
• Looking at the BIOS for obvious failures (e.g. RAM that should be there is missing) - nothing obvious is wrong.
  

I am fairly certain the build version was 9926. For many months, the system would attempt to upgrade, and then say "it failed" for some reason and roll back.

Suggestions for next steps?
