Windows 10: Upgraded Windows 11 22h2 is asking randomly for activation

Hi, I have an OEM licence for windows 10 Pro but my upgraded Windows 11 22h2 is asking randomly for activation. What can I do to stop windows from asking for activation?

Upgrading WIndows 11 22H2 gives error

Hello all

I have been running windows 11 for a while now and I decided to upgrade to windows 11 22H2, even though it will disable my ribbon hack for file explorer.

Does anyone have any suggestions? A search found most of the suggestions for this error involve upgrading from windows 10 not to windows 11 22H2 but I have windows 11 as you see below





When I downloaded and tried to do the update, the upgrade failed and rolled back. I ran setupdiag and it reported this





Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and Welcomed

Windows 11 22H2 on my Windows 11

Hi - my Dell XPS 15 7590 originally came with Windows 10 but I upgraded to Windows 11 without problems. Now running Windows 11 21H2 OS Build 22000.1098

Windows update is not offering me Windows 11 22H2 to download/install.

My Windows Registry does not seem to have any reference to '"DestBuildNum, UpEx, UpExU, and RedReason" keys.

Is there some incompatibility with my system that is stopping Windows Update from offering me 22H2?

I'm also registered for Windows Insider and that does offer me an Insider version of 22H2.
