Windows 10: Upgraded yesterday and lost internet

Discus and support Upgraded yesterday and lost internet in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I upgraded to W10 yesterday and had no issues at all.     Upgraded yesterday and lost internet


    I upgraded to W10 yesterday and had no issues at all. I used the internet all day without any problems. Last night around 2AM we just lost the internet and the centurylink modem kept blinking red for internet. Nothing seemed to be able to fix it but now it's been working since around 10AM.

    Anyone hear anything about centurylink having issues or is this a W10 problem?

    Not sure what these mean but the status for the LCP state was down as well as the IPCP was also down. Not sure if that is on my end or centurylinks.

    Start Button & Notification icon have stopped working.

    Worked yesterday but not today. I restored to a set point that was available for yesterday but had to reverse when I lost internet connection. Performed a command line file check and found no problem. I'm stumped. I'm considering doing a file reset to
    recover but am uncertain of the effect. Mine was an upgrade from Windows 7 and I understand I would all apps as well as rest all files. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
