Windows 10: Upgrading Changed SNID and Serial Number

Discus and support Upgrading Changed SNID and Serial Number in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I upgraded my Win7 Home Acer laptop with Windows 10 Pro but device SNID and Serial num got changed, even rolling back it's not correcting SNID/Sr.No....     Upgrading Changed SNID and Serial Number


    I upgraded my Win7 Home Acer laptop with Windows 10 Pro but device SNID and Serial num got changed, even rolling back it's not correcting SNID/Sr.No. nor able to activate Win7 with key pasted on laptop. In BIOS by Key F2 I am unable to edit SNID/Sr.No. I had no motherboard repair history. Please help.

    The serial number is wrong

    It is not that they are taking a long time, it has only been a few days, I am just curious. I wanted to where they were up to using the Acer case status but to do that I need the serial number or SNID of my device, I checked the serial number it had for
    my device on the Microsoft website but when I put it into Acer case status it says it is an invalid serial number. I took a screen shot below

    Serial number

    The serial number should be on a sticker somewhere on the desktop.

    You can also go into the BIOS to find the serial number.
