    Upgrading from illegitimate Windows 10 Pro key to Windows 11 Home


    Hello,I am having trouble upgrading to Windows 11 Home. I unknowingly bought an illegitimate copy of Windows 10 Pro some time ago, and after swapping my motherboard it gave me the Activate Windows watermark, so I then bought a 11 home key from a licensed retailer thinking I could just enter the product key but when I go to the Activation section in settings and enter my Windows 11 product key it says "The product key you entered didn't work. Check the product key and try again, or enter a different one. 0xc004f050".Anyone know how I might solve this? I'd prefer not to boot from the disk I bo
