Windows 10: Upgrading from Win 11 HSL to Pro using OEM license and Office Home Student problem

im currently helping a client who just bought a bnib HP Laptop that came bundle with Win 11 HSL & Office 2021 Home Student its still hasnt been setup yet and they were asking to upgrade it into Win 11 Pro using OEM license they already bought the license from internet and then they wanted to keep / able to redeem the office that came with previous license. they have a strict policy to not use microsoft account on their laptop, only local account. so is it possible to upgrade the license and keep the office from previous license without binding it first with microsoft account ? and is

Home to Pro upgrade on OEM

I have a pc with an OEM Windows 11 home license. If I purchase a Win 11 Pro upgrade, is the upgrade transferable ( in the event that I change PC and downgrade the original)?

 

Revert from win 11 MAK license back to OEM license.

Hi,

Recently I bought legion 5, which came with win 11 home single language version, and later my friend gave me MAK license of win 11 pro. I did activate the MAK license, but when I asked around the internet, I found that it is illegal to own MAK license if it is not provided by the company.

Can I revert back to OEM license of win 11 home after I applied the MAK license? I am afraid that the MAK license overwrote the OEM license in the BIOS.

 

Upgrade a Win 10 home OEM to Win 10 Pro OEM with Win 10 Pro OEM Key?

I recently purchased a laptop that has an OEM version of Win 10 Home on it.

I verified this by using : slmgr -dli.

Previously I had purchased an OEM Win 10 Pro Key.

Can I use this OEM Win 10 Pro Key to upgrade the OEM Win 10 Home to the OEM Win 10 Pro.

If so what are the steps to accomplish this?

In addition, I assume that is this is possible, that the current product key will be updated to the new product key?

The reason I am asking this is that it's my understanding that these product keys are tied to the bios on a name brand laptop.
