Windows 10: Upgrading from win 7 (which has issues) to win 10

Discus and support Upgrading from win 7 (which has issues) to win 10 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; So I have been toying with the idea of installing Linux Mint, instead of trying to install win 10.     and how do you like it? from what I understand, I can run windows apps using the emulator, and that's what I really need!

    I liked it so much that I have 10 computers in my house running Windows 10 with no trace of Linux on any of them. Linux is fun, if you want to invest the time to make it work. Windows is just too easy and versatile for me. You might get more support for Linux on an actual Linux forum.

    Dinesh, I have installed Linux on two different computers.

    The first was in the 1990´s. It was almost as powerful an operating system as DO at the time..

    The second was about ten years ago. Other than some good mid-range games, it was inferior to Windows XP.

    When all is said and done, Linux has had plenty of time to displace Windows, and it can't even come close.

    Mint runs pretty well (dual boot) with the right tweaks, especially with a Win 10 theme...

    hey guys, so I managed to do a clean install of the windows 10! and it seems to be working. I didn't have to take any additional steps after the install, and my version says it's activated! not sure why, but no complaints here!
