Windows 10: Upgrading from Win10 Home to Win10 Pro fails with Error Code 0x80070005

I have had a valid Win10 Home license that came with my Razer notebook. To use Bitlocker I was forced to upgrade to Pro. I did...1. Open "About this Computer" 2. Clicked "Change product key or upgrade your edition for windows"3. Clicked upgrade to Pro -> Store opened4. I purchased an upgrade to Pro for 145,- Euros which was charged from my back acount5. In the Store I clicked on "Install"5. A dialog showed with "Preparing Upgrade". After 5 minutes I've got the following error message:6. The Store-Page was frozen. Still Can Not Upgrade to Win10

I just tried, for the ***time to upgrade from Win7 Pro SP1 to Win10. As usual, the upgrade fails, this time with the error code 8024201C.

I have tried many of the suggestions posted on this site, all to no avail. Needless to say, I am getting frustrated.

Can someone assist me in upgrading to Win10? Please.

 

Windows Update Fails with 0x80070005 after upgrading Win7 to Win10?

Thanks. I ran step 16 and then restarted and still got the same error. I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter and it did give some options (which it was finding nothing wrong before using the Tweaking.com tool). However, after it applied the fixes and I rebooted I still got the same error. I ran the update troubleshooter a 2nd time and it couldn't find anything wrong.





I've tried to uninstall the last update with no success. If I try to manually install the updates they appear to install, but then Windows Update still thinks they need to be installed and issues the same error code.

I'm really stumped as to how to fix this. Everything seems to be working just fine after the upgrade except for Windows Updates so I really don't want to have to Reset/Reinstall and then reconfigure this entire system just because of this one issue.
