    upgrading from windows 10 version 21h2 to windows 11. Error: 0xc1900101


    For couple days I've been trying to upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11 and get an error 0x1900101, i have no idea what is going on, I've tried several ways to fix my problem and run general troubleshooting for windows update, also run; scan sfc, chkdsk, update some drivers, and update windows to the most recent. I've also checked the requirements for upgrading to windows 11 are all met with the device I'm using right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated it. i really need to upgrade to windows 11 tho.

    Windows 11 compatible but not even offered 21H2??

    I have an HP desktop PC and a DELL laptop and both are suitable for Windows 11 although it has not been offered as yet. Both machines have received the latest Windows updates and are on Windows 10 version 21H1 build 1288.

    1. I am not interested in upgrading to Windows 11 but, if the machines are suitable for Windows 11, why aren’t my machines being offered the upgrade to version 21H2?
    2. Are there issues with 21H2 that caused Microsoft to put an upgrade block on it?
    3. I am happy with version 21H1 and I assume I will not be offered the upgrade to Windows 11 until version 21H2 is installed. Am I right in this assumption?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
