Windows 10: Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10,Second_Boot Error 0xc1900101

I am attempting to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but the installation has been failing at the very end. I downloaded the media creation tool and proceed to follow all of the on screen instructions. The installation makes it to the very end and then I get the following error.

0xc1900101 - 0x40017
The Installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during the BOOT operation

I tried disabling my anti virus but that seemed to not work. It has been awhile since I have messed with my boot settings and I am not sure if any changes I made might be causing this error. I am not even sure what boot settings I might have changed. Currently my PC boots up and goes directly to the welcome screen. I never get any boot options or splash screen thats you would normally get..the screen is black until the desktop is loading. Please let me know if there is any other information that might help resolve this issue.

Hii,

I recently tried to upgrade my lenovo 32 bit from windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 using microsoft website but it shows an error 0xC1900101-0x40017 The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation and it set my PC back
to the way it was right before I started installing Windows 10 that is back to windows 7. Now what I do to upgrade it into windows 10. Please Help...

 

Issue updating from windows 8 to windows 10 0xC1900101-0x4000D- Error during MIGRATE_DATA

Error occurred while trying to upgrade from windows 8 to windows 10 error msg:-

" 0xC1900101-0x4000D

The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation. "

Please help me resolve this
