    Upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10: Error 0x30018


    I have been trying to update my computer a Razer Blade 17" 2013 to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1, but keep encountering the error 0x300180xC1900101 - 0x30018 The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP operation, and the installation aborting then windows displaying the "undoing changes made to your computer" message during the following boot, before showing me the error message upon login.


    Here is a list of solutions I have tried:

    Installing from ISO file


    Running CHKDSK [as admin] no problems


    Doing an SFC scan [as admin] no problems


    Running the windows 10 update compatibility tool finds problems and claims to have fixed them


    Updating all drivers in accordance with the Windows 10 upgrade guide on the manufacturer's website http://drivers.razersupport.com//in...=view&parentcategoryid=351&pcid=350&nav=0,350


    Clean booting


    Running Windows Update numerous times


    Unplugging all USB devices, ethernet cables, and deactivating wifi while running the upgrade program


    Restarting the PC numerous times


    Disabling / uninstalling devices that have errors in device manager


    Updating firmware from manufacturer's website


    Doing the rundll etc. thing in command line


    Disabling all antivirus and firewall software incl. Win Defender and Win Firewall


    My device manager continues to report a problem with the network controller despite the fact I installed the appropriate drivers. I thought to try refreshing my Windows 8.1 installation, but when I attempted to run the recovery media creation tool it told me "some required files are missing." The installation fails around 40% usually, I think. The highest I have seen it go is 48%.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
