Windows 10: upgrading my SSD Disk manager shows the new size while the file explorer still shows the...

Hi,I have changed the SSD from 512 GB to 1 TB, I cloned the old drive to the new drive. However, the disk manage shows the new size 1 TB, while the file explorer still see the 512GB size although it is correctly allocated, see images below.

SSD isnt showing up on file explorer but is showing up on disk manager

I bought an SSD and installed it today to use as my new main storage device while keeping my current hdd. I initialized it on the disk manager and gave it a letter and everything, but it won't show up on file explorer. It shows that there's 356mb used on it despite me not downloading anything on it due to the fact that it wont show up on file explorer.

Storage showing as double the actual SSD size

Running Windows 10 Home 20H2 (Build 19042.964) on an AMD based Windows Surface Laptop 4 with 512GB SSD.

Even though it has a 512GB SDD as confirmed by both disk management and file explorer, settings -> system -> Storage reports the size as 951GB! I have searched but struggling to discover how to get it to report the real size.

Per the image below it shows

• 553GB used - bigger than the size of the SDD
  519GB in system & reserved

System and reserved breaks down per this screenshot




Have tried various options including disk cleanup, SFC and DSIM to get it to report the correct size but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to correct this much appreciated?

 

Hard drive showing up in disk management but not in file explorer

So I just finished building my new computer and I put a 2 tb firecuda sshd in it. I boute windows fine on my ssd and my hard drive showed up in the BIOS but it didn't show up in file explorer. I went to disk management and formatted it to be a basic drive
but it's still not showing up in file explorer.
