Upgrading Ram - No beep - Overclocking needed?

    Hey all!

So basically I bought some new ram because I was having issues with my old ones. I bought 3 of the KVR16N11/4 and put them in the channels A1, B1 and C1. When I turned on my pc I got no beeps. I'm positive the ram is compatible, I did a lot of prior research, the only idea I have is that after a certain mhz, I think in this case 1600+ the ram needs to be overclocked for it to work.

On the manual of the motherboard itself, the general ram information states 1600(O.C) but in the detailed ram information only 1600. Could overclocking be the case? If so how can I try, I've never in my life overclocked before and what should I be careful of.

Direct instructions on how to OC would be very much appreciated. I know it's in bios but I obviously can't get in bios until I revert back to my 2x 2gig setup.

So in this case would I have to go in bios with my previous setup, change the settings, shutdown and put in new ram?

    Thank you

    :)
