    No. The first installation of Windows 10 MUST be an upgrade. That is the process that registers the computer as a Windows 10 Device. After you have done the upgrade you can do a clean install if you wish, but a Refresh this PC (available in Settings) may be a better way for you to accomplish the same thing and still keep your files.

    Okey, I'm going to install a fresh copy of windows 7 on my new SSD, then upgrade, all should be fine then right?

    Yes, as long as you activate that copy of windows 7, then upgrade.

    I mean, as far as I`m concerned, it should be activated.
