Upgrading to Windows 11 breaks multiple window clicking

Hi all. After upgrading to Windows 11 I noted that clicking a taskbar window does not work if there are multiple instances of same window. E.g. I have one open File Explorer FE, and I do whatever I do with the computer and want to quickly access the FE, I just click the FE item from taskbar - and FE window pops up. However, if I have 2 or more FE windows, clicking the taskbar item does absolutely nothing. After I close the multiple windows so that there is only one open, clicking the taskbar FE entry pops up the FE window.I have waited months for the fix. I have tried installing ExplorerPatc

    :)

Windows 8 Upgrade Streamlined to 11 Clicks

For those who upgrade between succeeding versions of Microsoft Windows, the upgrade installer can be cumbersome. There are way too many prompts and clicks. Microsoft is working to make the upgrade package of its next major version of Windows, for now referred to as Windows 8, streamlined to as few as 11 clicks. The new installer will be designed to perform most of its tasks without needing user input.

Microsoft will implement a new web-delivery method, where you purchase your Windows 8 license online, and the installer downloads your soft copy to you. It is pre-fed with your 25-character product key. Microsoft's next major Windows release is slated for 2012.

  3. Windows 8 Upgrade Streamlined to 11 Clicks

8 clicks too many IMO, unless of course there are issues that the user needs to resolve. 11 is far too many. WHAT are they thinking that "11" is a goal to trumpet! Really, 1 click to accept install, 1 click to accept license agreement, and 1 click to confirm default standard installation not custom.

(Actually, today, it is 12 clicks too many. You shouldn't even run the installer and should stick with XP ... *Wink Upgrading to Windows 11 breaks multiple window clicking ;) LOL)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
