    Upgrading to Windows 11 causes bluescreen. What should I do?


    Hello. I am having some troubles with upgrading from windows 10 to windows 11. The pc health check said that my pc was eligible, so I began installing the update, and it got to the black screen with a percentage that says to keep your computer on. At this point, at a random percentage, my pc would restart and get a blue screen with the error INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, and my pc would try to fix the problem by restarting. However, my pc would sit idle indefinitely with no video output until I force shut down by holding down the power button. Finally, it undoes the changes and I am back to window

    Windows11 suggested update to Windows11 cause bluescreen. Can someone help?

    Did a windows 11 update to my windows 11 laptop and it has bluescreeed. Recovery and restore both fail. All laptop checks pass. Boot from recommended HP Cloud recovery and windows recovery usbs tried both fail. Stuck with a 1 yr old bluescreens laptop that will not boot to Windows. Can someone suggest next steps or share experience?

    Upgrading to windows 11

    I have a few questions about windows 11...

    1. How many GB it is? when my pc suggested the upgrade yesterday, it said it's about 4GB just want to be sure.
    2. I'm using a windows 10 pro so if I upgrade, will it upgrade to a windows 11 pro?

    KB3163018 causes bluescreen in DirectX DXGMMS1.sys when I maximize video

    Still have the same problem.

    My setup:

    • Lenovo W530
    • Windows 10 64bit
    • Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
    • NVIDIA Quadro K2000M

    Just installed the anniversary update, updated my BIOS, intel graphics card driver and SSD firmware. Fullscreen applications like YouTube still cause a bluescreen.

    Any suggestions Microsoft?
